How do I move numbers from phone to SIM in a Samsung SGH-M300 to change to another phone? Thanks?

This phone allows you to save to SIM or phone, which I never paid attention to but now it seems most of the numbers I have saved are in the phone and I am moving the SIM card to a new phone and hate to lose all of my contacts. I have seen other phones (e.g. Nokia) where there is a menu selection for this but it does not show up easily in the selections available in the Samsung menu. Thanks!
I think it’s under phonebook settings, which is under application settings.
