How do i transfer my videos from my Samsung Digital camcorder onto my windows Laptop that has no firewire port?

You should be able to add a firewire card to your laptop. You’ll need to find out whether your laptop uses PCMCIA or Express cards – they’re not interchangeable. The cost will depend on which type you get – PCMCIA cards can cost less than $10 while Express cards are about three times that.

If it’s a minidv camcorder then you need a firewire card, if your laptop doesn’t have an empty bay then you are out of luck.
